Cloudflare has deprecated the Cloudflare Partner API required to manage domains through cPanel. However, removing the cPanel plugin does not mean that you cannot use the service.
This means you will no longer be able to manage your Cloudflare integration within the GreenGeeks cPanel dashboard or any other cPanel host.
This does not mean that your website will stop working on a generic CDN. It just means that you will no longer be able to add, manage, or configure Cloudflare domains directly from cPanel.
To ease the migration process, we’ve outlined what you need to know and how this will affect your GreenGeeks website.
Customers with existing Cloudflare configurations
No impact to existing Cloudflare configurations. Records currently set to point to Cloudflare will continue to resolve normally.
This means that you don’t have to adjust configurations that are already in place.
To make changes to domains previously configured on Cloudflare via GreenGeeks, you need access to . Cloudflare Dashboard.
Customers without previous Cloudflare configurations
This feature has been deprecated and you will no longer be able to configure new Cloudflare domains from GreenGeeks cPanel.
This means you must log in directly to the Cloudflare dashboard to configure and manage your domains.
For more information on how this change affects your site, see our support article outlining Cloudflare’s deprecation.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
in brief…
Cloudflare’s API integration has been retired from cPanel, but you can still manage your domains from Cloudflare’s dashboard. Domains added before this change will continue to be active in Cloudflare.
The bottom line is that the function was simply removed from cPanel.
