I transferred money to my wife and she invested it in listed stocks (stocks). She suffered capital losses in both the short and long term. There is a capital gain on my investment. I showed net capital gains in schedule capital gains by clubbing her losses and my gains. However, Schedule SPI (Income of a Specific Person) does not accept negative numbers, so it is not possible to show the loss suffered by the wife. Can someone please tell me how to view the capital loss suffered by my wife in the ITR in Schedule SPI or elsewhere in the ITR form.
I don’t think you can do that, i.e. you can’t show your wife’s loss against your gain.

hi @akileshnautiyal
Try running this with the latest version of the utility.
I am submitting an ITR online using the latest version of Chrome. How do I select the latest version of the utility?
Where are you filing your taxes? “Quicko” is a tax filing utility for zerodha accounts. I think you should use the latest version of Quicko.
