Added database cluster deployment to Marketplace. Running your database in a cluster enables backend load balancing and fault tolerance to improve performance and availability. You can now deploy database clusters built using Ansible Collections in just 5 minutes.
Support for MongoDB, MariaDB with Galera, PostgreSQL (repmgr), and Redis Sentinel removes the process of manually configuring each node to deploy highly available database clusters for production workloads. Marketplace cluster deployments offer some of the convenience of managed services by streamlining initial builds while still providing control for managing your clusters. There are no additional charges for your cluster, you are only billed for the resources you use.
Cluster deployments automatically configure TLS encryption for replication and client/server connections for all clusters, ensuring a default level of security for all deployments. All database clusters created through the Marketplace will be 3 nodes, and Redis Sentinel allows the option to create 3 or 5 nodes per cluster. We recommend choosing 8G Dedicated or Shared instances for Galera, Redis, and MongoDB resource performance.
Deploy a cluster
A Marketplace cluster is a three-node deployment created directly from Cloud Manager. To get started:
- Sign up or login to Cloud Manager and select market.
- Search by app or category “database” to find cluster deployments for the selected DB.
- Select your database and scroll down to complete the setup and provision your cluster.
- Once done,[コマンド ラインを使用して作成]or[Linode を作成]Choose.

It takes about 5-10 minutes to provision the cluster and install the database. You can check the progress in her LISH console on the first node. One VM is deployed to run commands from the app StackScript, and two more VMs. The first VM joins the other two and becomes part of the cluster.
Database resource
We will continue to add apps to the Marketplace using Ansible Playbooks and provide cluster deployment support for additional databases, analytics, and monitoring tools.
