Cybercriminals from the darkest corners of the internet are reportedly selling hacked and verified crypto accounts on the darknet for as little as $30 each.
According to a survey on April 24 paper Privacy Concerns with Online Data Security Providers — According to The Dark Web Price Index, cybercriminals sell all kinds of fraudulently obtained financial account information on the dark web.

Fraudulently obtained verified cryptocurrency account prices include:
- Kraken Verified Account: $1,170
- Binance Verified Account: $410
- Crypto.com verified account: $300
- Coinbase Verified Account: $250
- US verified Bitrex account: $30
These figures show a significant increase in the price paid for the same account details in 2022, according to. data From last year’s Dark Web Price Index. In 2022, hackers paid only $260 and $250 to verified Kraken and Binance accounts, respectively.
Hacked accounts can be used to illegally circumvent Know Your Customer (KYC) measures on popular cryptocurrency exchanges.
Cryptocurrency accounts aren’t the only ones on the list. Credit card account information with up to $5,000 balance sells for just $110, and online bank account login credentials with up to $2,000 balance sell for $60.
You can also get login information for all kinds of social media accounts, including hacked Facebook, Airbnb, Gmail accounts, starting at $25 each time.
and statement With these shocking new numbers, Miklos Zoltan, a security researcher on privacy issues, says Internet users need to be more careful with their personal information than ever before.
“If someone gets your financial information or your social media credentials, the prices above are basically worth it to them,” Zoltan explains.
“There’s a good chance you’ll rate these things much higher than they actually are. Because they’re just another sign of easy money for you.”

Hacking of accounts on popular cryptocurrency exchanges has become a major issue in the industry.
Recently, a customer of US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase filed a lawsuit against the company following attacks on their accounts.
He claimed to have lost “90% of his savings” after falling victim to a malicious hack known as a “SIM swap.” This hack allows the scammer to control your phone number by tricking your telecom provider into linking it to your girlfriend’s SIM. card.
