Sensex currently lacks liquidity at 62240pe and even 62000pe. OI is 2560 only.
We had planned to add more liquidity, but our current liquidity is not enough.
62200 also has only 6000 in OI.
I have a feeling it will be at least 6 months from here to get decent liquidity.
right. Both his OI limit per client and his OI limit at member level do not apply to contracts expiring on that date.

Made a small contribution to OI. Expired is not worth it.

The equivalent of sales is premium turn over for 278341 Are the contracts trading correctly?
If yes, that’s great. Finifty For example 27-12-22
contracts traded 104 million → premium sales around it 8000 chromium
Please let me know if there are any other corrections.
Could someone please check?

This screenshot you shared is the contract volume for BSE options, not the premium volume. Premium sales will be less than 1% of contract sales. So I think about 120 crore rupees.

dear shubham
My question may sound strange, but please answer (I’m a novice trader). It’s better to ask than to be confused. Please answer yes or no. We will also explain if necessary.
Question 1. Please tell me more about the above margin requirements. As you explained and wrote in your post that the payment type is European,
Similar to bank nifty/nifty/finnifty options?
And I understand that my account requires a premium amount if I purchase the sensex option. and only when you short (sell) the margin requirement option?
Query 2. The lot for sensex is 114 (114*10=1140 maximum quantity). Does zerodha have nudges enabled for this too? How to see liquidity?
Query 3. Buy a strike on, for example, Monday (because expiration is only allowed this week) and let it expire. Unless I’m a short position, what will be the settlement (similar to bank nifty nifty)?
Query 4. Do I need to maintain additional margin on my account (similar to stock options, there is a 2nd week margin requirement and a 3rd week margin requirement)…
For example, you have 20,000 in your account and you have purchased 10 lots (100 quantity).@60…=6k… Is that good enough? I’m interested in options (not buying or selling in the future)
Query 5. Why am I not seeing my Bankex strike price (no volatility)??
Thank you for your reply.
right. The Sensex option is the same as the Nifty and Bank Nifty options.
You need cash in your account to buy options and SPAN + exposure margin to sell options.
This quantity varies based on OI. If the quantity you are trying to buy or sell exceeds the position limit per client. The order window displays the following nudges:
Like Nifty and Bank Nifty, it will be cash payment. Once the ITM expires, it will be settled at intrinsic value, while the OTM option will expire to no value.
No additional margin is required as these options are cash settled.
These are available and I explained above how to add them to Market Watch.
Hi @dtyxg, This has been fixed. Now you can set alerts for BFO.

Teacher, is this place open now? Did you see a notification from zerodha on kite web?
One last question… @ShubhS9 For example, can I buy (roll over) the strike price on Monday at 62500 ce (within the oi range) and let it expire and let it go? What if your range changes on Friday? Is it the same rule as bn and nifty?
The Sensex 50 is another index that does not allow trading yet due to the extremely low liquidity of the F&O contract.
You can trade on Sensex and Bankex F&O contracts.
Due to low liquidity, only option stacks 2% away from spot are currently allowed to trade.
customer
Can’t get out of deep ITM positions?
Example: sensex is currently 62500, but if you enter a long position on Monday it will be 62600 ce(positional). And when sensex expires and reaches 65000. Can’t it be terminated when it expires or is it valid for -1 day?
Are strategies like hedge and iron condor allowed?
