Did you know that your website’s database can affect performance? Too many data and files can put extra load on your server when displaying your site to visitors.
object caching is one of the go-to solutions for reducing database queries. This basically means that when a visitor visits her website for the first time, all database query results are stored in the server’s cache.
When the user reopens the same page, the server uses the cached data instead of sending the request to the database again, which makes your site load much faster.
We are proud to introduce LiteSpeed Object Cache into our tech stack. It works in conjunction with the LiteSpeed Cache for WordPress (LSCWP) plugin and can be enabled directly from hPanel.
Easy built-in object caching
Object caching is always supported by the LSCWP plugin, but is not enabled by default. To enable this, we need an external feature called LiteSpeed Memcached (LMCD).
To help with the setup, we created an in-house solution based on LMCD. This way you can go to your hPanel and enable object caching with a single click.
But how much can you improve your website with LiteSpeed Object Cache?
We have found that using the object cache can improve the response time of your WordPress site. up to 3 timesThere’s also less risk of downtime because the server performs fewer database queries to display your website.
Below are the GTMetrix results for one of our test websites before object caching was enabled.
