Why did you join Liquidweb?
They offered me a job! And it definitely echoed down my alley. I love the process of expanding my knowledge from what I know very little. The interview experience was also very positive. My current teammates were really happy with what they were doing.
What draws you to the hosting industry as a career?
It seems like an essential and evergreen need. I think it will really be a place of innovation as we move into the new digital world.
What do you especially love about Liquid Web?
I’m not going to lie, Working remotely is the best. Feels like a big upgrade.
What is your favorite part of Liquid Web’s corporate culture?
I love seeing collaborations across the brand family and meeting new people with new perspectives. Liquid Web is big enough to meet people you’ve never met before, but small enough to remember those people as you continue your career.
What makes Liquid Web different for you than other employers?
Liquid Web has flexibility and continuous improvement. If something goes wrong, or you think something could be improved, we have a support system to make it happen.
What’s the biggest milestone you’ve achieved?
Phase 1 of Nexcess’s rebranding recently started New navigation menu. As for the copy, it was a big milestone.
What is Liquid Web known for? What specifically do people come to you for?
I le detectiveOr that’s what I think I am. Solve riddles and try to find the most accurate answers.
Name one thing you want your customers to know about hosting.
It is supported by many very good people on all levels. What I think is missing in Amazon’s and Google’s race to conquer the internet is the human element. Everything about the Internet has been built, maintained and shaped by human ideas and technology. Your business is run by people, not Google servers. That’s what makes the difference in my eyes.
what’s your favorite tv show?
leftovers Or Buffy. Or deadwood. Lost again.
What are your favorite apps?
twitterbut by the time this is published it may not be.
If you could have dinner with a celebrity [dead or alive]who would it be?
Maya Angelou Or maybe Louis XIV.
