As our user base continues to grow, we want to encourage our customers to think security first. Added security questions and the ability to register a verified phone number for two-factor authentication (2FA).
Adding answers to your three security questions is the most secure way to regain access to your user account if you lose your 2FA device or lose access to your recovery codes. If you lose access to your 2FA device no If you have security questions enabled, you may not be able to regain access.
Adding security questions takes about 2 minutes. Security question answers must be 17 characters or less, including spaces. These questions are intentionally designed to be personalized for each account holder, so that malicious individuals cannot research or discover the answers.

Adding a verified phone number provides a secure method of authentication to Akamai cloud computing services. We strongly encourage you to keep your phone number on file, but you have the option to opt out of phone confirmation notifications and your phone number will be deleted. Standard carrier messaging rates may apply to receiving verification codes via SMS.

- login to cloud manager;
- from the profile dropdown[マイ設定]Go to.
- Select Login & Authentication.
- Add security questions.and
- Follow the prompts to add and confirm your phone number via SMS.
