Frank Gerlinger was, until July 23, 2015, a business executive and entrepreneur at the top of his game. As he says, American he went from living a dream to living one of the worst nightmares of his life.
A spinal cord infection (abscess), mistaken for a strained back muscle, contracted around Frank’s spinal cord, leaving him paralyzed.
His medical care cost a lot of money. This alone is a topic worthy of him writing a book. And now he’s raising his funds not only for his own care, but in hopes of finding ways to help others in his own situation.
So what was going through Frank’s mind when the seriousness of his situation set in? What did the doctor say, and how did he deal with it? In the clip below, Check out Frank’s conversation with StartupNation’s Jeff Sloan.
Frank’s story is full of pain and anguish, faith and effort, and ultimately wisdom and hope.
