February 3, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM ET and 10:00 PM to 1:00 PM PST
Join me, Jerry Engel, Pete Newell, Steve Weinstein, and college educators from around the world at this event.
The summit will bring together leading entrepreneurial educators who are leveraging lean innovation in their classrooms, accelerators, and student ventures. This is the fifth edition of this bi-annual gathering of a supportive peer community of educators, coming together to discuss how they are adapting to meet the challenges of today’s turbulent environment. . The next session will focus on the role of universities and other important organizations in our ecosystem in supporting our vital mission of developing the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators.
As the pace of change accelerates, the role of entrepreneurs and the ecosystems that support them will become even more important. The challenges of the pandemic and global warming highlight the importance of capturing value from technology and the importance of innovators creating novel and effective solutions. How can we, as educators of entrepreneurship and innovation, best prepare the next generation? What is the role of universities in helping this?
The keynote speaker is Dr. Richard Lyons, UC Berkeley’s first Chief Innovation Officer. Rich brings a fresh and broad perspective to Berkeley, where he served as Dean of his School of Business at Haas for 10 years. Inspired by Professor Lyon’s keynote, we get to the crux of the summit: peer-to-peer discussions. Discuss the best of his practices with colleagues around the world in these moderated sessions. Then share the breakout session results with everyone.
This session is free, but limited to innovation educators. You can register for the event here For more information, please visit our website. https://www.commonmission.us/summitWe look forward to coming together as a community that continues to shape the future of lean innovation education.
